Friday 18th March 2016, is Child Sexual Exploitation Day. The day aimed to raise awareness surrounding Child Sexual Exploitation, encouraging people to think, spot and speak out against abuse and adopt a zero tolerance to adults developing inappropriate relationships with children. Recently our staff and foster carers attending a very informative training day, regarding CSE, which brought us greater awareness of the lengths adults take to access children and young people and silence them, to avoid being caught. The training made us all think about the potential vulnerability of the young people we care for and the need to remain vigilant.
The National Charity NWG Network calls for us all to unite against child sexual exploitation. Show your support by writing a personal pledge on the palm of your hands, with the hashtag#HelpingHands to help raise awareness of CSE.
