Bristol Foster Carer Accepts Challenge to Support Charity

One of our Bristol Foster Carers, Saadat, is taking on a challenge with his two sons to reach K2 base camp.

Saadat is doing this to raise money for the “Brain Tumour Research” charity in memory of his mother who died at the age of just 34.

Saadat said “I’ve trekked many of North Pakistan’s mountains before, to a height of 3000m, however I know that getting to Base Camp will be as much of a mental challenge as it is a physical one.”

Saadat you are amazing and we hope you get lots of support from the fostering community. He is also being featured in the press including the “Asian Independent”

We’ve also included a recent video that Saadat shared with the group talking about his experiences with support from the Fostering Foundation and the establishment of the “Hub”
