The Fostering Services department of the Government has produced some National Minimum Standards for Foster Care.
One of these is “Children should have an enjoyable childhood, benefiting from excellent parenting and education, enjoying a wide range of opportunities to develop their talents and skills leading to a successful adult life.“
We at the Fostering Foundation, heartily agree with this statement and think that every child should have the opportunity to have a great upbringing, irrespective of their family and social circumstances. Our Foster Carers do an amazing job making a difference and giving the young people that chance.
