N, a 12 year old from Cornwall wanted to share her positive contribution to the family this half term. She can not only cook a hearty breakfast, but also plan for the evening meal, by preparing a shopping list from the recipe book. These are some of the important life skills a foster carer can support as a young person prepares for independence. Well done N, looks tasty!

It is half term week and what have our children been up to? This 12 year old girl from Cornwall has been helping her foster carer to make a Mermaid.We do not know what the Mermaid is called yet but you will see her again when she is in her Aquarium.Our foster family will be turning the whole phone box into an Aquarium to brighten up the Village.
