The Wessex Region Carers met for their latest Support Group last week.
There was a good turnout and a lively discussion as always, which included
- Balance of fostering time and carers own time to replenish and recharge
- Birth parent’s inability to see beyond themselves and focus on their children during contact
- Foster children making that decision to change their name to their foster carers name – and what that means to the child
